4 Provinces Just Broke COVID-19 Records As Canada Reports 5K New Cases In 1 Day

On November 21, four different provinces reported single-day highs for new positive tests, as the country overall confirmed nearly 5,000 new cases in just 24 hours.
On Saturday, Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan and New Brunswick all reported an all-time-high figure, according to a report from CTV News.
In addition, Nova Scotia confirmed a significant jump in their case-count, recording its highest number of positive tests in months.
New cases of COVID-19
The near-5,000 positive tests reported across the country include 1,588 in Ontario and 1,336 in Alberta.
Saskatchewan, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia recorded 433, 23 and 8 new cases respectively.
Quebec, which has reported the highest total number of COVID-19 patients so far, confirmed 1,189 new cases on the same day.
This comes just days after the federal government revealed Canada could report up toof COVID-19 by December.
