The five products that were approved are available in different fragrances.

They are:

  • Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Disinfectant Mega Shower Foamer Aerosol Spray,

  • Scrubbing Bubbles Disinfectant Bathroom Grime Fighter,

  • Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Disinfectant Bathroom Grime Fighter I Aerosol Spray,

  • Disinfectant fantastik All Purpose Cleaner and

  • Disinfectant fantastik Original All Purpose Cleaner I.

SC Johnson said that it has been testing disinfectants in laboratories against the virus that causes COVID-19.

Then the company works with agencies like Health Canada to further determine that the products are effective.

The five that were approved apparently kill the virus when used as directed on hard non-porous surfaces.

So far, hundreds of products demonstrated as effective against the novel coronavirus have been approved and you can check out the list online.

Recently, Health Canada recalled hand sanitizers that were sold to the public and even given out at schools.
