Brace yourself. Ontario's winter forecast is going to be mixed with a little bit of everything this year.

It looks like the province won't be starting 2021 off with normal winter weather.

According to The Weather Network, above-seasonal temperatures, major snowstorms, ice, and rain will all hit the province this season.

By the end of January and February residents will be experiencing a wave of surprisingly mild temperatures.

However, that doesn't mean we won't see any snow this year.

A very rude bout of "frigid air to the west" is still going make outside miserable this month, bringing with it heavy snow, ice, and rain.

"We will have the potential to see heavy snow squalls all the way through the end of the season," TWN adds.

Don't worry though we're not the only ones. All of Canada is going to go through an extra snowy winter this year.
