In a new video shared online, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau attempted to show just how much COVID-19 in Canada has changed since March.

On November 29, he posted the clip via Twitter, writing, “We can flatten the curve. We know how to do it - in fact, we’ve even done it before.”

The one-and-a-half minute video shows a timeline of Trudeau’s COVID-19 speeches and addresses from March through November.

The post also includes a visual showing how the number of cases has risen and fallen over the past eight months.

At the end of the video, the visual appears to show Canada’s case-count at an all-time high.

This prompts the note, “We can do this. We’ve done it before. We understand this virus much better than before,” from Trudeau.

The PM goes on to say that “We must work together —all of us—as a team.”

The clip closes by urging Canadians to download the COVID-19 alert app, a message the prime minister has reiterated multiple times before.

The Twitter post comes as Canada more than doubled its case-count between November 1 and November 28, and as multiple provinces continue to report record-high daily figures.
