It's a parliamentary bromance! Justin Trudeau just gave a sweet farewell message to cabinet minister and longtime friend Navdeep Bains, and he returned the sentiment.
But the cherry on top was Bains — who served as Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry — declaring his reason for stepping down. The minister shared that he's leaving for the only job he believes matters right now: fatherhood.

No longer my boss, always my friend.
Trudeau took to Twitter to say goodbye to his friend of many years who he says has worked "tirelessly" to make Canada a better place for many.
Bains also took to social media to share an adorable photo of the pair basically posing in unison, which can only be in true brotherly fashion!
He even followed up the iconic photo by declaring that although the PM is no longer his boss, he will always be his friend.
What's more, in a nearly three-minute video, Bains explained his decision to not run in the next election and why he is stepping away from the cabinet.
According to him, he wants to focus on his family and being a dad to his young daughters.
