A list of Canada's top companies for diversity was recently dropped and it looks like so many sectors made the cut.

Canada's Top 100 Employers revealed the country's most inclusive workplaces in their 14th annual editorial competition for 2021.

The companies selected proved they all had "exceptional workplace diversity and inclusiveness programs."

The organization behind the study said that the award recognized "successful diversity initiatives" that were made for employees from five different groups: women, members of visible minorities, people with disabilities, Indigenous peoples and individuals from the LGBT community.

"Diversity is more than making sure everyone feels welcome in the workplace. It's also about a seat at the table," Diane Jermyn, a journalist at the Globe and Mail, wrote.

Jermyn explained that the list acknowledged transformations being done to understand "systemic and unconscious inequities of race and gender that exist in Canadian organizations."

Additionally, of the 100 companies on the full alphabetically-ordered list, it appears businesses from several sectors in Canada managed to snag a spot.

This includes companies such as Air Canada, Bank of Canada, Home Depot of Canada Inc., TD Bank Group, TELUS Communications Inc., the TTC, Health Canada, Loblaw Companies Limited, University of Toronto, Enbridge Inc., YMCA of Greater Toronto, the Children's Aid Society of Toronto and more.
