One Ontario high school is shutting down after around one-third of the students were reportedly potentially exposed to COVID-19. \nOn Tuesday, London Christian High announced that in-class learning was suspended and students would be moving back to online courses until after the holiday break. \nThe move comes after two students tested positive for COVID-19. The London Free Press now reports that multiple other students have potentially been exposed. \nEditor's Choice: Ontario's New COVID-19 Cases Just Dropped Dramatically After First 2 Weeks Of Lockdowns\n\n\n2\n\n\nStudents that tested positive \n\n\n\nIn a letter that was sent to Narcity, the school states that closing down is just an abundance of caution to help protect students and their families. \n"As we are deeply committed to the health and safety of our students and our wider school community, when we became aware of the situation we acted on our Covid-19 protocols and worked with the MLHU to determine next steps," read the statement. \nFamilies who were affected by the disease have already been contacted by the school. \nClasses are expected to return back to in-person learning on January 4. \nAccording to the London Free Press, this is the first school in the area to actually be shut down due to the disease.
