Ontario Anti-Mask Protest Organizers Charged After Over 60 People Showed Up

According to Hamilton police, one of the events, hosted by Hugs Over Masks, had over 60 people in attendance.
The Hamilton Police Service attended both events and confirmed that the number of attendees exceeded the number permitted for an outdoor gathering.

The other event had about 40 people on the scene.
Both protests took place in the area of Bay Street South and Main Street West on January 3 and January 10.
Police reportedly notified organizers ahead of the second event that the gathering would violate the Reopening Ontario Act.
However, the pair still chose to go ahead with the demonstration.
