The Umbrella Academy Is Reportedly Filming In Toronto & Elliot Page Posted A Cryptic Photo

We'll have to wait and see what it means!
Staff Writer

We've got some answers and even more questions about The Umbrella Academy's Season 3 after a new Instagram post today.

On Tuesday, February 16, Canadian actor Elliot Page revealed the show was filming its third season — and he dropped an interesting photo with the announcement, too.

A few months ago, Netflix confirmed that Season 3 of The Umbrella Academy starts filming in February 2021.

According to insider publication Production Weekly, the series is being filmed with the fake name "Chroma" — which means that according to Toronto's official production listing website, the show is filming in the city between February and August 2021.

Page posted the photo a few days after his co-stars posted various photos of personalized equipment on set.

But Page's photo had one interesting and unique detail — a little bird perched on top of the Season 3 umbrella.

Fans of the show will know the bird refers to the Sparrow Academy, a group of antagonists set up in the show's second season that's still largely mysterious within the Umbrella Academy universe.

With no confirmed Season 3 release date, fans will have to wait and see if the combined Sparrow/Umbrella logo is anything more than just a fun bit of branding for the cast member's chairs!
