A Christmas gift from my sister @nacgirl pic.twitter.com/fhI4uw8etz— Jim Watson (@JimWatsonOttawa) January 23, 2021\n\nReynolds liked Watson's tweet and the mayor took notice.\nHe replied to his own tweet just to thank Reynolds "for liking my socks!"\nThe Canadian actor later responded saying "I need to up my sock game."*\nIn his tweet, Watson also shared his gratitude for everything the star has done when it comes to helping good causes during the COVID-19 pandemic.\nReynolds has donated money to organizations in Ottawa like a food bank and distress centre along with other causes in Canada.\nThis isn't the first time that Reynolds and Watson have shown each other love.\nReynolds followed the mayor on Twitter in April 2020, then a month later he revealed that he still considers Ottawa home and even gave Watson a sweet shout out.\n*Editor's note: This story has been updated.
