The first Costco Business Centre in Ottawa opened its doors on Thursday, showing off over 2,000 unique items that you can't find at any plain old regular Costco.

The 123,000-square-foot facility at 1900 Cyrville Rd. is the third of its kind in Canada, although two new locations are scheduled to open in Edmonton and St. Catharines later this year.

Warehouse manager James Dalton told Narcity that 70% of the items at this location are unique to the business centre and can't be found at traditional Costco warehouses across the country.

He said there was also a wide variety of food, drinks, appliances, and kitchen accessories just like their location in Saint-Hubert.

There's a wild assortment of items like 10-kilogram jars of peanut butter, 4-litre bottles of maple syrup, 208-litre drums of olive oil, and 3-kilogram containers of cream cheese.

Plus you can find three times the regular quantity of candies, chocolates and gum.

So get ready to add a 4.5-kilogram Toblerone to your shopping cart.

It also has a gigantic, 10,000-square-foot walk-in cooler, with multiple aisles stocked with assorted cheeses, meats and seafood.

All Canadian Costco customers can shop at the new location, which is open Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

You can also shop online if you live within the National Capital Region and have your order shipped to your door.
