Non-Essential Travel Outside Of Canada Is Still A No-Go Says Federal Government

When it comes to non-essentialthe federal government has made their position clear.
In a social media post on November 3, the Government of Canada's travel department reminded Canadians that an advisory is still in place.
The notice, which was first issuedwarns against all non-essential travel outside of the country.
The advisory, which was issued due to the COVID-19 pandemic, warns that Canadians may struggle to get "essential products and services" if they go abroad right now.
Further, the government says that travellers could face strict quarantines at their destinations and there may be “limited” consular services available should any trouble arise.
Canadians who do decide to travel outside of the country are still likely to faceupon their return.
Visitors to the country are also facing new measures upon arrival, with updated regulations requiring travellers tobefore even boarding the plane.
