"I would like to invest in your business, your ideas."
The goal of the fund is to provide students of historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) funding for their businesses.
2 Chainz explained in an Instagram video that he wanted to give back to HBCU students, so he created a way to invest in their businesses.
I just came up with a marvelous idea on how to give back to HBCU students.
In order to qualify for the fund, you must currently be enrolled at an HBCU and you must be actively running a business.
The project is a competition format, so you have to pitch your business in a way that will catch the attention of 2 Chainz and a panel of judges.
2 Chainz is one of the most endeared celebrities from Atlanta and is always looking to pay it forward in ways like the Money Maker Fund.
