During the first leg of the trip between Denver and the overnight stop in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, travelers will journey alongside the Colorado River and gaze at breathtaking views of canyons with steep, rugged walls.
On the second leg of the route between Glenwood Springs and Moab, guests will travel through a variety of scenery from mountains to desert rock formations.
"The work to find a new route has been underway for several years," shared Peter Armstrong, founder of Rocky Mountaineer.
The company's goal was to make the U.S. journey just as incredible as their award-winning Western Canada routes between Vancouver and the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
"We needed to find a special location with many of the same features we have in Western Canada – incredible scenery, iconic destinations," said Armstrong. "Rockies to the Red Rocks will have all of this and more."
