In a study, the online betting platform Betway ranked North America's best girls' trip cities to discover where you and your besties should travel next.

The ranking considered factors including the average hotel price, the number of spas, and the average McDonald's meal price. Out of the 41 cities featured, this European-like city near Ottawa was crowned number one.

Montréal is a stunning city located 2 hours from Ottawa and 5 to 6 hours from Toronto. It's known for its old-world vibes, cobblestone streets and historic charm, making it a scenic destination for a getaway with friends.

It's even been dubbed the "Paris of North America," so you and your besties can imagine you're holidaying in France without enduring a lengthy flight.

According to Betway, Montréal boasts a "rich cultural scene" and "offers a perfect blend of sophistication and fun."

"With a reasonable average hotel price, an extensive list of spas, and a vibrant club scene, Montréal scores high on the Girls' Trip Index," the study notes.

For the ultimate girls' getaway in Montréal, Tourisme Montréal suggests brunch at spots like Dandy on Saint-Jacques or Le Cartet, where you'll find boozy mimosas and over-the-top pancakes.

You can also get pampered at Spa William Gray and shop at the cozy shops in Old Montréal.
