You Need To Hit The Pool This Weekend As Vegas Will Feel As Hot As Death Valley

Things are going to get hot, hot, hot in Sin City. Las Vegas temperatures are going to soar this weekend, with scorching temps sticking around into early next week. Those pool sessions are going to be looking good while the city heats up like Death Valley.

Accuweather reports that temperatures will reach a blazing high of 114 and 116 F on Saturday and Sunday.

It also notes that Monday will be "very sunny and very hot" at 115 F.

The rest of the week will remain in the triple digits, though on Tuesday, July 14, you can expect temps to drop back down to 109 F, with a reasonably breezy evening.

You'll want to get those swimsuits ready because the pool is going to be the only place outdoors you'll want to be.

Death Valley will see highs between 117 - 124 F on Saturday, making Vegas a contender for one of the hottest places on the West Coast.

If you plan to be out in the heat, especially during afternoon highs, it's recommended to check out heat safety tips provided by the National Weather Service.

They suggest that you stay indoors when possible and drink lots of water to keep your body hydrated.

If you happen to get the chance to hang out by a pool or any other body of water, now is the time to work on those tan lines.

The CDC also recommends wearing light fitting clothes and using lots of sunscreen with "UVA/UVB protection."

The NWS has alerted people to prepare for an "excessively hot weekend," especially in places like Death Valley, Las Vegas, and Lake Havasu.

With no end in sight to the triple-digit temperatures, it's a good idea to plan outings and trips accordingly if you will be in the sun or outdoors often.

As summer reaches some of its hottest days, its time to take advantage of the perfect pool temps as well!
