According to The Weather Network (TWN), the storm is heading straight for northwestern Ontario.

Areas that are expected to be hit the hardest include Geraldton and Lake Nipigon.

Travel could be hazardous in these areas and TWN is telling drivers on the Trans-Canada Highway to be careful.

TWN also identifies parts of Highway 17 and Highway 11 as dangerous driving zones.

While areas north of Lake Superior will be hit the hardest,  areas west of the lake will see approximately 5 to 10 centimetres as well.

Be safe and enjoy the first signs of winter, Ontario!
