The changes are being made in order to grant patients more certainty when it comes to their testing process, according to a news release

"As weather begins to worsen, we can’t have people waiting in the cold, waiting in the rain and snow to get a test," said Ford.

The move comes after rising demand for tests resulted in massive lineups forming across the province.

Ford also brought in the option to get tested at your local pharmacy for those who have no symptoms.
