February 1 marks the deadline for 2021 Nobel Peace Prize nominations, and a few Americans and groups have made the list.

Former President Donald Trump, along with his son-in-law Jared Kushner, received nominations for the prestigious awards, but some other big names got the honor as well.

300+ Nominations for last year's Nobel Peace Prize.

One individual nominated for the award is U.S. voting rights activist and Democratic Party politician Stacey Abrams, who is credited with helping boost voter turnout in the 2020 presidential election.

The Black Lives Matter movement was also nominated for the award after world-wide protests against systemic racism were held in the summer of 2020.

"BLM's call for systemic change have spread around the world, forcing other countries to grapple with racism within their own societies," read a nomination letter from Petter Eide, a member of Norway's parliament.

Other big-name nominees include climate change activist Greta Thunberg, the World Health Organization, and Russian dissident Alexei Navalny.

The winner of the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize will be announced in December.
