This secret Ontario beach with golden sand and 'emerald waters' is one of the 'best' in Canada
It's a "secret paradise."

A beach in Ontario.
Canada is home to plenty of popular beaches, but if you want to discover a true hidden gem, there's a secluded beach in Ontario that feels like it was plucked from a summer daydream.
Nestled in a national park, this golden stretch of sand is a serene spot for a warm-weather getaway, and readers on Narcity Canada's Facebook say it's one of the best beaches in the country.
Horseshoe Beach is a hidden gem situated in Pukaskwa National Park in Ontario's Superior Country.
According to the Lake Superior Circle Tour website, the beach offers "golden sand and glistening emerald waters," making you feel like you're in another world.
Often called "the secret paradise of Pukaskwa," this hidden beach is a peaceful escape for those willing to venture off the beaten path.
The secluded beach can be found along the all-accessible boardwalk from Hattie Cove Campground, which leads through northern pines and dreamy canopies.
You can relax on the soft shores, wade through the crystal waves and enjoy the breathtaking surroundings at Horseshoe Beach. As it's located on Lake Superior, be prepared for chilly water temperatures.
From the beach, you can explore the Southern Headland Trail or the Manito Miikana Trail nearby for picturesque day hikes.
The Southern Headland Trail offers beautiful views of Hattie Cove, Pulpwood Harbour and Horseshoe Bay. Manito Miikana Trail features "serene boreal forest and the impressive Lake Superior coastline at Picture Rock Harbour," and is best for overnight campers, according to the Lake Superior Circle Tour.
Pukaskwa is also home to Middle and North Beach, where you'll find more sandy shores and scenic views.
If you're looking for a hidden gem to check out this summer, this secluded crescent shoreline is one of the "best" beaches in the country to visit, according to readers.
