A suburban Florida county will start doling out money next month for residents who have lost income thanks to COVID-19.
Seminole County, just north of Orlando, will give its residents a hefty stimulus check to help with rent and utilities as part of their CARES act funding.
Amount Residents Could Be Eligible For
The personal grant will go to residents who have either lost a job or have had their hours cut during the pandemic.
Seminole County will also lend small businesses a hand, issuing up to $15,000 in grant money for those who qualify for the grant.
The grants will be available when the county launches its Seminole CARES act website next month.
