Flying tires are no joke. Another accident on an Ontario highway this week happened when a wheel smashed through someone's windshield.

OPP tweeted a report of the incident that happened near Ottawa on Friday, August 14.

A tire reportedly fell off another car and smashed through another driver's windshield just before 8 a.m. on Highway 417 near Parkdale.

The driver whose wheel it was has apparently been charged, although the nature of the charges is unconfirmed.

Thankfully, the person whose car was struck suffered only minor injuries, but it could have been so much worse.
