We would make a cheesy joke, but we don't wanna be too corny!

Hot diggity dog! This stunning cafe serves up the ooiest, gooiest, cheesy Korean corn dogs in Ottawa and they’re like a flavour explosion in your mouth. So grab your favourite stretchy pants, because it’s time for a treat-yo’self weekend in the capital.

Located in the chic neighbourhood of Hintonburg, Ottawa’s Drip House cafe is full of tasty treats and gorgeous decor.

Editor's Choice: Another Ottawa Restaurant Received A $1600 Tip & A Trend May Be Starting

From crispy falafel to Instagram-worthy avocado toast, your mouth will be watering from the moment you open the menu here.

But one food item really stands out from the pack and it’s their Korean corn dogs.

Coated in batter, deep-fried, and sprinkled with all kinds of tasty toppings, these delicious dogs are available at the cafe every Friday to Sunday.

So I guess we know what our weekend plans are now.

With toppings like seaweed, Japanese mayo, bonito flakes, and more, these are not your average corn dogs, either.

And with a visually stunning interior and patio, you’ll be just as impressed with your surroundings as your meal.

So if you find yourself wondering what’s for dinner this weekend, why not head over to Hintonburg for a delicious K-dog?

We’re sure that your eyes and your stomach will thank you.

There are a few types of dogs for you to indulge in here.

For example, the Osaka features Japanese mayo, okonomiyaki sauce, and seaweed, while The Works is topped with Osaka and bonito flakes or sugar and ketchup.

And the choices don’t stop there.

When it comes to what’s inside your K-dog, you have four styles to choose from.

You can go all-meat, all-cheese, half-meat and half-cheese, or vegan.

Currently, Drip House is the only spot in Ottawa serving Korean corn dogs.

And you can get them on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Of course, if you live in Toronto, you need to check out the dogs on offer at this famous spot.

But if you're in the capital and you've been craving this delicious treat — or just want to try it for the first time — now you know.
