Here's How You Can Get $400 For Each Kid You Have From Ontario's COVID-19 Child Benefit

As part of Ontario's 2021 budget, the Ford government announced they had doubled Ontario's COVID-19 child benefit — a program that provides money to help support families throughout the pandemic.

For every child you have from the age of zero to grade 12, you will receive $400, states the government.

For every dependent you have with special needs under the age of twenty-one, you will receive $500.

Parents who have already applied for the first round of funding through the Support for Learners payments will have this money deposited into their accounts as soon as April 26, 2021.

For those who haven't applied yet, you still can. Applications for the latest round of funding will open on May 3, 2021, with a deadline of May 17, 2021.
