Ontario Police Are Searching For A Missing 3-Year-Old In South Frontenac

Jude Leyton went missing on Sunday morning.
Staff Writer

The OPP is looking for Jude Leyton, a missing 3-year-old, who disappeared on Sunday morning.

Police say Leyton was last seen at 11 a.m. this morning in the Canoe Lake Road area of South Frontenac, an hour or so north of Kingston.

Layton is 3'5", large for his age at 45 pounds, wearing a dark jacket and blue rubber boots with long brown hair in a ponytail.

Anyone who sees Layton is being asked to call 911 or 1-888-310-1122, but the OPP is also asking civilians to stay away from the area so as not to inhibit the search.

They say extra bodies can interfere with canine and aerial searches and that parked civilian cars are blocking emergency vehicles.

UPDATE: OPP East Region announced that Jude Leyton was found alive and well on Wednesday, March 31, by an OPP Emergency Response Team member.
