January 21, 2021, is grabbing people's attention for multiple reasons.

The first reason being today's date is a palindrome, meaning the date when written numerically, 1/21/21, is the exact same when read backward.

But the numbers are actually bringing another rare occurrence to the table.

1,000 years Next time the palindrome date will happen again.

Many might find today to be a sign of good things to come, as it is the 21st day of the 21st year of the 21st century, and people are very excited about it.

Some even speculate the date came at a perfect time and could bring in good luck, as today is also the first full day in office for President Joe Biden.

Unfortunately for those who love seeing significant numerical dates, this one won't happen again for another hundred years in the year 2122.

To make the day even more special, wait until 9:21 p.m. and switch your clock to military time, and it will be 21:21 on the 21st day of the 21st year of the 21st century.
