There are changes coming to Cineplex's Scene card and what you can redeem your points for will be different. Don't worry, all of the points that you've earned aren't going anywhere. 

It's been announced that Cineplex and Scotiabank expanding the loyalty program by merging its benefits with Scotia Rewards, the bank's loyalty program.

Fall 2021 when the enhanced Scene program is expected to launch

With the expanded program, you'll be able to redeem points for merchandise from retailers like Apple and Best Buy.

You'll also be able to use points for travel through the Scotia Rewards Travel Service and as statement credits to pay down some of the bank's products.

These changes are expected to launch in the fall of 2021.

Redemption options that are already available won't be removed, the enhanced program from Cineplex will just add to what you can get.

Also, the changes won't impact your current points.

A week before this announcement, Scene introduced more redemption options so you can get gift cards for stores and restaurants now.
