There are plans for new Sephora Canada stores to open across the country in the next three years and there will be almost 50 additional locations.

Along with that multi-year expansion plan, the beauty retailer told Narcity that there will be eight new locations in Canada during 2021 and three of those have already opened their doors.

With the new stores that have already opened this year, the beauty retailer now has 81 locations across the country.

Sephora is also investing in opening locations that aren't in malls to make it more accessible for Canadian shoppers.

Ulta Beauty, another makeup retailer, also had a Canadian expansion planned but it was pushed back in 2020 because of COVID-19 and then eventually suspended because of the current retail environment.
