There's a Shoppers Drug Mart points event happening for six days that gets you extra money off your purchase.

If you have a PC Optimum card, you can take advantage of the Bonus Redemption Event that's on now by redeeming your points.

There are three tiers of savings with this deal.

When you redeem 50,000 to 90,000, you get an extra $15 off which is the equivalent of 15,000 points so $65 will be taken off your purchase instead of $50.

If you redeem 100,000 to 190,000 PC Optimum points, you get $140 off thanks to the $40 bonus.

Then when you redeem 200,000 to 500,000 points, an extra $100 will be taken off the cost of your purchase so you get $300 off.

Points and bonuses have to be redeemed with a single transaction and you can only exchange points in increments of 10,000.

This offer is only available at Shoppers Drug Mart from February 26 to March 3.
