If you're dreaming of a magical winter day trip, you'll want to grab your skates and head to this enchanting small town near Toronto. Nestled on the edge of a frosty gorge, the town of Elora is home to a breathtaking outdoor rink with incredible views. It was even dubbed "Ontario’s most beautiful village" by the Group of Seven's A. J. Casson, according to Elora and Fergus Tourism.

The skating experience, which is hosted by the Elora Mill, features a synthetic rink lit by dreamy string lights. The rink is perched on the South Side of the Grand River, offering stunning views of the Elora Mill, top of a waterfall, gorge and quaint town.

The rink is available to guests of the Elora Mill as well as the community and is free to use. It's open 24 hours a day but is unsupervised, so it is recommended that visitors use caution when skating.
