Students, staff and faculty at the University of New Brunswick (UNB) have been given the all-clear after a bomb threat shut down multiple campuses.

On Friday, September 10, the university evacuated its Fredericton, Saint John, and Moncton campuses but did not offer a reason for the police investigation.

On Saturday, September 11, the university revealed it had received a "possible bomb threat" but that the threat did not specify which campus was in danger.

"All campuses were evacuated as per university safety policies and procedures, while police searched for anything considered to be suspicious," the university tweeted.

All campuses are open and have returned to normal operations, according to UNB.
