Florida's largest teacher's union is taking the state to court to reverse its decision to reopen schools.

Citing safety and the state's surging COVID-19 cases as their major concerns, Florida's teachers have filed a lawsuit against Gov. Ron DeSantis to halt the planned reopenings

It shows a depraved indifference to human life that we are having this conversation in Florida right now.

The lawsuit alleges that the state did not put into thought the safeguards needed to open schools to in-person learning.
