Florida's largest teacher's union is taking the state to court to reverse its decision to reopen schools.

Citing safety and the state's surging COVID-19 cases as their major concerns, Florida's teachers have filed a lawsuit against Gov. Ron DeSantis to halt the planned reopenings.

The lawsuit alleges that the state did not put into thought the safeguards needed to open schools to in-person learning.
