If you're looking for a getaway closer to home that will still give you some breathtaking views, these two Canadian train trips might just be for you.

According to a recent study sent to Narcity by Club Med, The Rocky Mountaineer and The Canadian managed to rank in the top five most aesthetic train journeys in the world.

The study analyzed data from Tripadvisor, Instagram, Pinterest, and the trains' homepages to come up with a social index score out of 100.

The Rocky Mountaineer journey landed at number one on the list with a killer score of 83.

According to the Rocky Mountaineer's website, the luxury trains offer three Canadian routes, which travel from Vancouver to Jasper or Vancouver to Lake Louise and/or Banff.

However, if you're looking to take in even more of Canada, The Canadian is the route for you. It came in at number three on Club Med's list with a score of 78.

The Canadian, which is operated by VIA Rail, will take you from Toronto to Vancouver with stops in Winnipeg, Edmonton, and Jasper. And, fun fact: it can also be travelled in reverse.

"Unlike planes, when you travel by train you are able to see the ever-changing landscape rolling by," said Estelle Giraudeau, Club Med's managing director, U.K. & Northern Europe, in the press release.

And just in case you're wondering what other Instagram-worthy routes cracked the list, the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express came in at number two, and The Ghan: Adelaide to Darwin came in at number four.
