The CP Magical Christmas Train Is Coming To BC Soon And You Can't Miss It

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is back this Christmas for its 21st edition of holiday cheer and magic. This holiday season for Christmas, the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train coming to B.C. will be here just in time for Christmas. It will make four stops near Vancouver in December of this year. The train will entertain hundreds of thousands of people, collecting food and raising funds for food banks across North America.
So far, the CP Holiday Train has raised more than $15.8 million and collected 4.5 million pounds of food since its first journey back in 1999.
The Canadian train will depart Montreal on Tuesday, November 26 before travelling west to Vancouver where you can catch the train at four stops near the city. The train is a sight to behold. Not only will it decked from rent to backand holiday decorations, but it will also feature live music and Santa Claus.
You don’t have to be a kid to enjoy some! Besides, think about all the perfect Instagrammable photos you can take in front of the train with your friends and significant other.
The free concerts that will take place from Montreal to Calgary will be performed by musicians, Scott Helman and Madeline Merlo. There are a ton of stops on the if you're in the province for the holidays.
The CP Holiday Train favourite Terri Clark will also join the train once again this year in Calgary with another talented secret musician (who will be announced soon) wrapping up the holiday cheer in the Vancouver area on Tuesday, December 17.
“The CP Holiday Train is a program that our 13,000-strong CP family has immense pride in bringing to communities every year. Access to nutritious food is a basic necessity, and food bank usage is on the rise across North America,” said Keith Creel, CP's President and Chief Executive Officer, in a statement.
“The CP Holiday Train program is our way to help in the fight against hunger by growing awareness of this issue and providing a fun and engaging way for the public to show their support,” continued Creel.
The four stops near Vancouver where you can catch this magical, out-of-this-world, train are:
Maple Ridge — Monday, December 16, 2019, from 8:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Pitt Meadows — Monday, December 16, 2019, from 9:05 p.m. to 9:35 p.m.
Port Moody — Tuesday, December 17, 2019, from 5:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
Port Coquitlam — Tuesday, December 17, 2019, from 7:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
