Put on your moon boots, because this magical installation is literally out-of-this-world. You can take a trip to outer space by visiting these giant glowing planets that have landed in the province. Ottawa's giant Earth installation is now on display, and you'll feel like an astronaut as you gaze up at this mesmerizing artwork.

Ever wondered what it would be like to travel into outer space? This magical installation gives you a peek at what life might be like in the galaxies.

A massive replica of planet Earth recently made a touchdown in Ottawa's Canadian Museum Of Nature, and it will transport you to another world.

The installation, called Gaia, is one of British artist Luke Jerram's latest sculptures. The name comes from the Greek Mythology goddess Gaia who personified Earth.

It is the first time that Gaia has ever appeared in Canada, and you can find it floating in the museum's arboretum.

Spanning 7 metres in diameter, the massive globe features high-resolution NASA imagery, so you can get an idea of what the world actually looks like from space.

Each centimetre represents 18 kilometres of the Earth's surface.

The huge orb is lit from within, and it slowly rotates at 0.25 revolutions per minute as if it is actually hanging in space.

This isn't the only planet you can visit at the venue.

The Museum Of The Moon, an installation by the same artist, hangs in the glass tower above the entrance.

The massive sculpture of the moon is designed in the same manner as Gaia, and you can even see it glowing from the street.

The moon floated its way down to Toronto last year, where it hovered over the Bentway.

Rocket your way over to this magical exhibit, and see the world from a whole new standpoint.
