900+ New cases reportedly expected in Ontario on Friday

If this is true, it would be in line with projections that Ontario could hit up to 1,000 new cases per day by mid-October.

The exact number will be released shortly after 10:00 a.m. and Doug Ford's cabinet meeting is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., says CBC.

It's reported that advisors will be pressuring Ford to move hot spot areas back into stage 2.

Doug Ford has flagged Toronto, Ottawa, and Peel Region as the most affected areas.

A return to stage 2 could see the closure of indoor dining, gyms, and other establishments.

On Thursday, the province broke its record once again with 797 new cases reported.
