Get your hiking boots ready! If you're looking to get out of the city and spend some time in nature, this stunning trail is worth checking out. The best part is, you don't need a car in order to reach this scenic destination.

You can take a GO Train from Toronto's Union Station to this stunning hiking area. The trip takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes, meaning you can travel there and back in one day.

The destination boasts 4 kilometres of beautiful trails waiting to be explored. It's a great way to get outdoors and enjoy some new scenery.

Here's what to know about this hiking spot.

Niagara Glen Park is a majestic area to explore. If you're travelling from Toronto, you can take a GO Train to the Niagara Falls GO Station, then hop on the Greenline North bus for a quick, 9 minute ride to the Nature Centre.

According to GO Transit, Niagara Glen offers "one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Ontario."

The trail will take you through a "pristine pocket of Carolinian Forest, past prehistoric geological formations, wild flora and fauna" and more, according to Niagara Parks.

You can also take in the views of the turquoise Niagara River and the rushing Niagara River Whirlpool.

It's a gorgeous spot to visit during the fall, when the leaves transform the area with colours of red and gold.

Niagara Glen Park is open year-round and takes about an hour to explore.
