IKEA Canada is lowering the prices of some of its most iconic furniture pieces so it's the perfect time to upgrade your home.

The furniture company has a plan to reduce costs in 2024 to help people buy necessities for their households without being concerned about high prices, and it looks like it's off to a good start.

Why you should care: With IKEA's mission to lower prices, you can buy some of your most-wanted products for a lower cost than it would've been in the past.

What they’re saying: "We know that in Canada, the cost of living and affordability is more important than ever as many Canadians face rising living costs and increased inflation. Many are facing an affordability crisis and are struggling with fundamental costs such as housing, fuel, health, and food," the CEO and Chief Sustainability Officer at IKEA Canada, Selwyn Crittendon said in a press release.

We remain committed to maintaining our commitment to affordability and value for money that's so important right now," Crittendon added.

When you shop at IKEA Canada, you can expect to see the BILLY Bookcase with glass doors drop from $249 to $199.

The STRANDMON Armchair is now $349, the VITTSJÖ Laptop stand is $29.99, and the RANARP Work lamp is $39.99.

Some of the items that have reduced price have become as cheap as $5. So, if you are looking for storage boxes, you can grab the SAMLA for $4.99.
