CBC sitcom Kim's Convenience will air its final episode on Tuesday night, but at least one of its stars feels fans deserve better.

Simu Liu, who portrays Jung Kim in the Canadian comedy, lashed out against the decision to cancel the show in a fiery tweet on Monday.

Liu said he was angry about the sudden cancellation and that fans deserved a "proper ending" to the beloved show.

"I have thoughts about our 'cancellation,' and they come with tea and receipts. For now, they will remain in my head," Liu said in a follow-up tweet.

The show's creators announced last month that they would be ending Kim's Convenience at the conclusion of the fifth season. Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, who plays Appa, had previously expressed his own sense of "loss and sadness" over the end of the sitcom.
