Peel Regional Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a shooter after a man was left dead and four others were injured in a Mississauga restaurant shooting over the weekend.

According to the police, officers responded to reports of a shooting inside a food establishment near The Collegeway and Glen Erin Drive on May 29 at around 7:19 p.m. Global News reports that the shooting took place at Chicken Land restaurant.

"It is alleged the unknown man entered the premises and began shooting at the staff, striking the 56-year-old owner, his 44-year-old wife; his two sons aged 22-years-old and 25-years-old, and a 58-year-old male employee," an excerpt from the report reads.

The 25-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene while the four other victims were transferred to trauma centres in stable condition.

A video of the incident was release which shows the masked suspect. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Homicide and Missing Person Bureau at 905-453-2121, extension 3205.
