Trinity Bible Chapel has reportedly been hosting in-person services despite the province's strict COVID-19 lockdown rules and has been fined multiple times.

MPP Randy Hillier, who made headlines in December after hosting a 15-person party, was reportedly in attendance at one of the services back in January.

The church, which is located in Woolwich, Ontario, is now receiving messages that reportedly threaten to "harm" the building and members.

They first received "threatening messages" on January 25, 2021, according to police.

However, the most recent threats of harm were reported on February 1, 2021.

Police have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with further information on the case is being asked to contact Waterloo Regional Police at 519-570-9777.
