It seems that a group of Ontarians are making the most out of this winter lockdown by creating an ice carousel.

The Weather Network shared a clip via Twitter on Friday, showing a crowd of locals turning a frozen slab into a classic midway ride.

The video, which was posted by Dave Henderson, in Gilmour, Ontario, shows a group of people gleefully spinning around on a block of frozen ice.

The makeshift carousel appears to be powered by a snowmobile.

The clip, which was posted on March 5, shows a bunch of chairs scattered around the circle for people to sit and enjoy the ride.

This pure Canadian invention isn't the only one that has made its rounds on the internet this season.

Back in February, a group of Ontario skaters were filmed playing a game of "ice frisbee."

While someone from Alberta was also captured playing a game of bowling with only a toboggan and some frozen clothes.
