Ontario Snowstorm Is Expected To Hit The Province This Weekend

As the province battles with back-to-back snowstorms, it looks like even more accumulation is on the way.

According to the Weather Network, the province is about to get blasted with another 10 centimetres by Sunday.

The latest mess of winter weather is being brought on by a Colorado Low, which will push into the Great Lakes by the end of the week.

While most regions can expect to see 5 to 10 centimetres of accumulation, some rain may also be mixed in with this storm.

While you'll have to pull out your shovels again, it's not all doom and gloom.

TWN reports that Saturday will be the perfect day for outdoor activities in Ontario, thanks to an abundance of sunshine and "near seasonal" temperatures.

Milder temperatures are also forecasted to arrive by Monday, allowing next week to get off to a much better start.

Ontario Provincial Police reported around 100 car crashes across the GTA in 12 hours on Friday morning. Take that as a warning to drive slower and clear off your car when more snow arrives.
