TWN reports that the Georgian Bay area will be pelted by freezing rain by Wednesday evening, with a low of -9 C by Thursday.

A "period of rain" is also expected to hit the Greater Toronto Area by Thursday morning, but, it'll be short-lived.

However, the weekend will bring double-digit highs and sunshine allowing residents a proper start to spring.
