Tensions and anxieties are rising as the world awaits the results from the American election, and so, as the ultimate stress reliever, we present to you: Shawn Mendes' new puppy.

Mendes uploaded a few photos and videos of Tarzan — one of which includes Camilla Cabello holding him and smiling big. Our hearts can't take it.

Last month, it was announced that Mendes' new documentary In Wonder would premiere on Netflix on November 23.

The doc will include candid interviews with the young musician, discussing his career, his childhood, and his romantic relationship with Camila Cabello.

Mendes grew up not far from Toronto, in Pickering, which he has previously called "suffocating, at times."

Shawn, you've provided us with the best election distraction. Tarzan, we love you already.
