A brand new ice rink has opened on the shores of Lake Scugog so you'll want to pack your skates. The experience is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and is free to use.

The outdoor rink is complete with a vendor village where you can shop for tasty treats and other goods from local artisans.

Downtown, you can soak up the "Victorian-era vibes" and explore the many shops and art galleries.

If you're looking for a spot to warm up, you can head to Nexus Coffee Company for a hot drink or grab a sweet treat from Hank's Pastries and Mrs. Fields.

The winter is the perfect season for curling up with a good book, so you'll want to stop by the cozy Books Galore and Willow Books to find your next read.

Put on your mittens and get ready to explore the "GTA’s very own winter wonderland" this snowy season.
