The City of Toronto is hiring many lucrative summer jobs as part of its annual hiring campaign for parks and recreation.

On Friday, Mayor John Tory announced that the city is looking to hire a wide range of applicants, including lifeguards, fitness instructors, outdoor gardeners, and handy-workers, through online submissions.

"These recreation jobs are not only excellent jobs for those employed, but they are important for all Toronto residents accessing our services," Tory said.

"I am proud we offer these impactful employment opportunities to youth and people of all ages in neighbourhoods across Toronto," he adds.

Camp Specialty Instructor

Salary: $19.14 per hour
