Torontonians will be able to enjoy restaurant patios and indoor shopping for the first time in months this weekend, but getting to spots via transit might be a bit difficult.

According to the TTC, subway services will be limited on Line 1 starting Saturday in order to accommodate construction on the city's new Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit project.

From Saturday, June 12 to Sunday, June 13, there will be no service between Finch and St Clair stations. This means if you are looking to travel between these eight stations you are going to have to take a shuttle bus.

"North York Centre Station will be closed. All other stations will remain open for the purchase of PRESTO fares and connection to Line 4 and surface routes," reads the statement.

The long-awaited Eglinton Crosstown line, which is currently under construction, was spotted testing vehicles last week, which had some residents beyond excited.
