On Wednesday, July 29, you can share your circle with a plant and even adopt it afterwards for a small donation.
The event is hosted by CHIVE, a Toronto-based company that creates modern plant pots.
All donations will be matched by CHIVE go towards CAMH’s COVID-19 Mental Health Resiliency & Coping Fund.
“Plants are a calming force in a changing world and positively impact mental health,” said Todd Newgren, Founder, CHIVE.
"Many of our friends have been heavily affected by depression and anxiety during the pandemic, so we thought this was a great way to lift people’s spirits.”
The event begins at 8 a.m., and is not expected to last long.
Some of the plants that will be available for adoption include succulents, cacti, leafy palms, and more.
