Just because Canada Day will look a little different this year doesn't mean you can't celebrate in your own way. There are multiple Toronto businesses that will keep their doors open so you can make the best of the day. We've compiled a list of what's open in Toronto July 1 to make your holiday a little easier.

It is worth noting that multiple Canada Day celebrations have moved online this year.

As a way to keep practicing safe social distancing, the City of Toronto, the Toronto Zoo and others will be hosting virtual celebrations so you can party from home.

However, if you do want to venture outside and go to the nearest park, the Ontario government is reminding people to stay in their social distancing bubbles of 10.

If you were planning on heading out to a big celebration, you might want to think again.

Parades and large gatherings are not permitted this year, and many of those popular celebrations, including those at Mel Lastman Square in North York, have been cancelled.

However, if you're looking to enjoy the outdoors at a distance or get in some essential shopping, you're in luck.

Here's a list of what is opened and closed in Toronto this Canada Day!

If you were looking to get your drink on, you might want to stock up now. Multiple liquor retailers as well as grocery stores will be closed this holiday.

Closed:

- Banks

- LCBO

- Beer Store

- Most Grocery Stores

- Toronto Public Library

When it comes to enjoying the outdoors, the options are endless. Beaches, pools and parks will be open across the city.

If you need to get your shopping on, you can also find a few of Toronto's most popular centres open with limited hours.

Open:

- The Toronto Islands

- Eaton Centre

- Beaches

- Pools

- Most Restaurant Patios

- The TTC

- Ripley's Aquarium

- Parks

So, as you can see, there is still plenty of fun to be had this Canada Day.

If you're interested in any of the available activities, make your plan in advance as some spots have limited hours.
